I've only blown up a friendly HAV on purpose once, but even then it was justified. It purposely crashed into a friendly DS that landed killing 3 team members in the process. It hence lost half it's shield. I proceeded with justice.

The idea does make sense. If you lost a percentage of your armor plates than it would make sense that you wouldn't be held down by the weight of an object that has lost its mass. Also therefore its weight.

The armor repair fits into the logis suppose to be role of defensive independence and suppose to be less aggressive independence. Hopefully they well do something that will affect its very strong aggressive independence.
