Not stories about slaughtering your enemies or saving your teammates from certain doom, but the stories of that one death that just made you sit back in your chair and go "Well, damn...". Perhaps you were outsmarted in an incredibly clever way, or maybe your clone was turned into swiss chesse in an awe-inspiring manner. This one is mine:
I was guarding an objective with only two possible ways to get to it; to come up a small ramp, or to drop down from an elevated and easily visible position. I spotted a small squad of 3 or 4 reds about to come up the ramp. However, one of them knew I was there and headed up by themselves, leaving the others to guard the surrounding area. It was another Minnie Scout with NKs. She charged, prepared to rend my thin scout hide. I dodged, barely avoiding her swipes, then counterattacked. She dodged as well. We continued our dance, perhaps lasting about 20-30 seconds before she stopped some 5 meters away.
We stared each other down, knives charged, each waiting for the other to make a move. She sprinted at me, then past me as my knives hit nothing but air. I gave chase, and cornered her at the edge of the small platform. As I moved in for the deathblow, she simply hopped backwards, completely clearing the small railing around the outside of the platform. In my moment of confusion, I hesitated, and it was only after she had dropped out of my sight below the platform that I noticed the remote explosive she had tossed while mid-air that was now directly under my feet. As my clone was blown away into a fine pink mist, I smiled, knowing that for the first time in a long time someone had outsmarted me instead of outgunning me.

Dropped out of MCC.
Lands on a Bolas that spawned out of nowhere.
Scout dies on impact.
Was immediately followed by me WTF'ing all over the squad channel?
Lesson? Never start the round out of MCC in an AUR suit. Sucks.

For me, it's that rare occasion when I'm walking around a corner and a heavy is just waiting for me with his breach, like he's been there the entire game for this one chance and before I even have a chance to react BOOM I'm dead. Props breach forge gun dude. |

Mine by far happened a couple of months ago when I was basically running mitlia weapons.
There was one of the null cannon consoles in the small buildings with a window on one side and the staircase going up on the other.
There was a lone heavy with an HMG guarding it. I came up to the door of that with just about every weapon/grenade combo I could think of. With my first shots or grenades he would waddle out to the door and drop me in about half a second. Then as I lay there dead he turns around and waddles back in. I half expected him to shake a cane at me and yell, "You kids stay off my lawn".

PC Match - Biomass Outpost
I am near objective A defending it from attackers. Our team is holding the tower right above it. Suddenly I find that a dropship has fallen on my head. Apparently the enemy team had tried to take the tower and jumped out of the dropship rather than trying to land it. Said unpiloted dropship must of felt that it had to contribute as well so it went on a kamikaze mission to take me out.
Well played dropship.. this round goes to you.

I was AV'ing a railgun Sica, was completely bog-standard so I thought it would be quite easy to dispatch.
But then I wondered just a little too far back.
And before I know it I see the entire map below me as the blast sent my ragdoll body flying across the whole god damn map. About 600m I think I flew.
Never have I been so annoyed yet laughed so hard.
And my god it must've been a majestic sight, seeing my ragdoll flying away into the sunset. |

My HAV and another, both severely shot to hell, barreled into one another, killing both HAVs, both me and the other driver, all four support gunners, as well as a half dozen other close-running infantry guardian squads.
In one instant, and two explosions, the majority of both teams had to respawn ^^
That was my favorite death.

I once got direct hit while running by a PLC from 86M, while I was in my AUR protosuit. That was a well-earned kill. |

Jumped off a building and landed on an enemy LAV. I rode it for a while until the driver just slammed the brakes and sent me flying, then ran me over. |

Any kill gotten on me with a PLC, or Nova Knife makes me sit back and go "He deserved that"
Any kill gotten on me with an AR / Ass MD / AscR / Thales / Forge / Nade Spam makes me sit back and go "**** this game!"
Charged SCR shots really seem to **** me off though, because they one hit kill me.

this freak accident happen when i was driving my saga around. 
hit a bump causing my ride to do a barrel roll into a group of redberries killing 4 of them in the process.

I was calling in an LAV to run back to the supply depot from my sniper spot when a shotgun scout attacked me. I managed to survive and finish off the scout with my SMG. I was feeling pretty smug about my awareness in detecting and dispatching the scout...and then my LAV dropped on top of me.

I still like my Chrome Cooked grenade death, thrown on the backside of a Blueberries head as he strafes past me, the now perfectly cooked grenade that was going to kill 3+ people, bounces back and headshots me.
It took me like 5 minutes to quit laughing...
