I tried 2 boosters but that lowers my shield HP to ~4400, which is pretty low and makes the tank weak against any decent AV. I also tried the light booster which allowed me to get around ~6500 shield HP, but the regen was too slow, so I got killed...

Core Flaylock will have its blast radius like the right now specialist version. I use the specialist and I think it's a pretty balanced weapon. I rarely kill with it unless the guy has dropped shields or it's a militia suit which will need 3 shots...
