You are confusing bad hit detection with aim assist. Aim assist helps you aim at an enemy, when you fire is where hit detection fucks you over. I can have my sights aimed at the back of a scoped snipers head, and fire 20 rounds at 5 meters. So...

Was playing yesterday and it was pathetic. Today after waiting forever to get a game I got I'm and everything was right on the mark, even getting some good accuracy at mid range for the smg. Anyone else notice the guns hitting better?
