So I have my PS3 wired with an ethernet cable and it tells me 1300 minutes to DL? I've read some people getting it in 15 minutes with a wired connection? North America, cable ISP. I am confused. |

I had it going real slow with like 400 minutes to go. Decided to retry. What a mistake that was! 1700 minutes. |

I got 52 minutes on mine. Using a wireless router right now since I'm not home, at my grandparents, Bleh.
Not bad for 10/1 connection. |

It's caused by bit rot. In some parts of the world, the bits compromising the data might rot and get stuck in the cable, causing long download times.
