It's perfect. I really have nothing bad to say about it. Like Cat Merc said, it's pretty much the worst or at least outclassed in every serious role, but it's a great silly weapon to use for Lol's.

I killed 2 swarmers and 2 forgers in one game alone yesterday. Just keep your distance, don't get boxed in, and learn to aim and you're fine. (Also, a 9k shield hp Gunnlogi helps a bit as well)

A better approach would be to nerf every weapon a little and give fitting/damage/range/etc bonuses to each of the suit classes to their respective weapon class. This will make so that each class can still use other weapons (bar heavy weapons) but...
