Allright ive speced now into shield tanks and got a gunnlogi now. My observations so far is that normal Av weapons have decreased damage against shields i take around 300-400 damage in my gunnlogi from a normal swarm launcher that fires 4 missiles...

the very good armor plates take by far less CPU then its shield counterparts. The only thing thats better is just the passive shield recharge and thats it. And i now i dont even use armor plates on my surya/madrugar. I just slack on 1 large armor ...

at the current state it doesnt matter. But maybe in the future it does. Probably you will need to spend more ISK/SP for stuff that is from other races. Like if you are caldari you have to pay more for gallante stuff etc. Well im gonna wait and see...
