'Cavity' Thukker Locus Grenade
Splash Damage: 600.0 HP Blast Radius: 5.4 m Max. Ammo: 3
COST: 5 AUR
Unlike normal grenades, thukker grenades explode on contact.
What does this mean? It means that you no longer need to cook your grenades, you can instead use them as a panic device. All you have to do is throw them in the general area of an enemy, and they will instantly explode. This allows you to use them mid combat without much danger, since your enemy will not be able to outrun them, and you won't be vulnerable while trying to cook your grenade for the perfect amount of time. This means you also no longer run the risk of blowing yourself up, unless you're insanely unlucky, stupid, or both.
These grenades don't exist for ISK, and nothing that "explodes on contact" exists for ISK. And if you want to say that eventually you can buy it for ISK, please keep in mind that anything that sells for AUR with be EXTREMELY expensive for ISK, not practical for something like grenades.
CCP, please remove these items, or drastically lower their strength. 600 instant damage in a descent radius is enough to kill the majority of players, with 0 skill required on the part of the user.
I say that this is the ONLY case of pay 2 win, because the rest (as far as I can tell) falls into pay for advantage, giving you an edge, not an instant kill item. |

just saying, there are alot of higher level stuff that are pay to win but since they are single death items it doesn't really matter and just becomes a Aurum sink fueling profit into the game. |

Do i have to say that there are 50 fused locus grenades that do exactly the same thing in the merc pack? And yes i want to see these things as ISK items. Kinda unfair to others that dont have access to that. Well im pretty sure we will see those things avaible for ISK just think about it the repair tool was the only one of its kind before they added ISK versions and even a militia version of it. By no means i want to see a variation of them as militia otherwise we have RE all over again. |

In theory this Aurum investment system will actually lead back towards the players because the aurum has to go somewhere, this means that in theory normal players can use isk to get aurum to get aurum gear. |

CCP will do it right, I have heard about AUR tanks next build that shoot money out of the turrets, the money then explodes into napalm, so watch out for those. |

let us not use a hammer when a scalpel could be more useful. Not need to get over dramatic.
rather, CPP, please test these internally and see how they work with 300/350/400 splash damage and please look at the blast radius, please experement with 4m/4.5m/5m. Also please make a variant of these grenades available for ISK as well.
Thank you

Cavvity Thukker grenader users are so easy to avoid. You can tell when they put their heads down when they are going to throw. If you get killed by them, it's you're own damn fault. |

+1 use the scalpel not the Nerf Hammer.
Stop using nerf, start asking for tweaks to items. If you nerf something then it becomes unusable. Also in comparision to the rest of the grenades its not so bad. Sorry you have a hard time with these grenades, but the rest of us don't.
CCP please don't listen to one players rant, do a poll ask us all what we think and offer many options to have this cleared up.
Also if this item was an ISK item would you be as mad? Don't think so, so it's not really the AUR its the fact you got killed by it and it happens to be an AUR item.

I would like a bomb system like assassins creed revelations has. You can choose the powder, the hull with the detonator and the effect. |

If it's anything like EVE, AUR gear can be bought and then sold on the market for ISK, so you should be able to buy anything with just ISK. The more people that spend AUR, the cheaper the stuff will be, probably.
Just like in EVE, you can buy and sell PLEXes, which are game time codes, on the market just like any other item.
The stuff enters the game only through AUR transactions, but otherwise, it's just another item. |

I dont know where to begin. Lets start at last night. I had 5 milia nade kills in a single game lets nerf the militi also why dont we?
In the OP you only list the benifits. Now lets talk about the drawbacks. 1. You can kill yourself if you dont throw it far enough. (No time delay instant death for me too) 2. It costs real world money. 3. You can cook a militia nade to do the same thing. 4. You have to have skill level to level 3. 5. It uses a great amount of CPU to use. (90 cpu I believe?) 6. Unless you are running proto suit you will have to use a lower quality main gun or sacrafice shields or armour. 7. Other ISK grenades have 600 hp what about those?
I have to stop now cause the professor is giving me dirty looks but in closing the disadvantages equal out its only advantage of exploding on or shortly after impact.
P.S. I can OHK you with milita nades why not expensive skilled weapons? |

it's a proto-grenade, thukker is the EvE corp that designed it. We will probably have isk versions and standard/adv versions with less damage some day, or impact fuse could be kept aur so they can be resold by people wanting to convert aur to isk in player market. |
