The AR and SCR both badly needed a TTK nerf as well. And nerfing all medium rifles was more important than balancing RR/CR against AR/SCR.

I snipe when the map favors it and I can do a lot for my team with it. Snipers aren't the problem. The problem is bad map design, which puts the best sniper spots in the redline. Don't hate the sniper, hate the game.
