Yesterday I was playing ambush on Manus peak and I got spawned at the southern ground base for skirmish. I tried running back to the map but it was a completely futile effort.

I would highly suggest Dune. I'm surprised nobody mentioned it yet. There is the original 6 books I believe and then there are two side series that are great reads as well.

A well fit dropship can actually destroy tanks quite easily, if it isn't a just as equally well fit tank. I've been a gunner for a pilot who had proto missile turrets and we have destroyed tanks that couldn't do anything to stop us.
