I've been in an LAV thats taken that jump and got so much air that we exploded on impact with the ground. It didn't go down to 0 armor and start burning, it was just instant death for me and the two other passengers. I wasn't even mad, all I could do was laugh about it. |

Lol I have had this happen and yet I have also drove them off really tall buildings and took no damage some how. |

how much points do you have in field mechanics and shield control.
that stuff matters greatly when you are in a vehicle. |

It has something to do with whether the side hits something or the bottom. For me if I just land flat I can survive most falls, but the moment my bumper hits anything its game over. |
