Given for sure that PayToWin is no good I still have no problems paying for some levels of content within the game as long as they are not advantage granting. I enjoy both Eve and Dust and want CCP to gain financially from their work; both to validate their efforts as well as promote a healthy game that will continue to exist and allow me to continue to play. I don't know how Sony arranges its licensing for the PS3 or whether the free to play model was theirs or CCPs idea but CCP will need a good flow of micro transaction income to keep Dust running unless Sony is floating Dust's footprint within its network to draw users to its own (Sony's) non-Dust services. Either way I feel some responsibility to renumerate those responsible for something I enjoy.
I pay subscription fees to other games and will likely transfer that over into manual spending within Dust (opposed to the subscription). If available I would want to pay for basic BPOs that alleviate ISK grinding on my primary fits. I don't want to spend hours (nor do I have the time) grinding for the sake of money - I want to play for my Corp or perhaps in the defence of my own EVE planetary operations (that possibility would generate some real tension in the match as I watch my own facilities overrun).
If there are some services that are wedged in as almost a necessity to pay for then so what. The dollar to Aurum conversion (and subsequent service costs) is designed to bring monthly spending for the serious player in at a near subscription rate thats fair to pay anyway for a game that you are enjoying playing. No game at this level can be truly free to play and survive so pony up the money and grant CCP fair compensation for a good product.

The skill gain boosters will ensure serious Dust players will pay regularly. BPOs is a really terrible idea in my view, as a big part of Dust's whole modus operandi is doing contracts as a mercenary to get money in order to afford good gear. They should never, ever allow players to make ISK less valuable to them by selling BPOs of higher-tier gear. You should always be poor. You should always be unable to afford everything you want. That sets the stage really well for when actual contracts roll around.
Otherwise, though, CCP needs to get with the times and dispense with the cosmetic dropsuit nonsense. Remove all purely cosmetic dropsuits, and selling dropsuit skins for larger AUR sums that permanently alter the skin of a type of dropsuit of your choice to anything currently available. I suspect this kind of stuff is coming in the future, but still. |

If there's ever a point where I'm not completely broke I'll be all over the skill boosters. 50% increase to my SP gain would really hit the spot.
I could possibly be talked into cosmetic stuff depending on what it is. Vehicle decals or dropsuit patches. Well, not so much patches, I'm always in my dropship so it'd be wasted. But if they let me get a big middle finger on my dropship I'll pay for that.
In extreme cases maybe dropship fittings, too. I've gotten pretty good at keeping them alive, so I might could make them worth it. |

I would pay for custom vehicle decals as soon as I feel my piloting skills were impressive enough to want people to recognize me. |

I'm willing to buy skill boosters, uvt, and cosmetic stuff. I want custom corp and alliance decals on my dropsuits and vehicles. Also permanent color changes for suits, then get the whole corp running similar colors with our logo :D
Anything that can be lost on death, guns etc, I'll never spend AUR on. I want to support CCP and kick some money their way but not on a purchase I feel is worthless and I feel an item I'll lose upon death is worthless. |

I like the idea of being able to pay for a paint bpo, you could have different colors for various planets or moons (camo), squads or even classes would be recognizable instantly at a glance (could be good or bad). |

Skill spikes are pay to win, I think. Skill boosters also. Anything not cosmetic is an advantage. And a package HAV skill set, just ridiculous. |

There's a difference between pay-to-win and the pay-to-skip model. Most of us I think are ok with people paying real money to skip a grind, it doesn't give them anything that you can't earn through other methods. Also don't forget that AUR items will be sellable on the player market. Even if they release an AUR-only super spaceship that holds your whole team and is covered in lasers, you'll still be able to buy it for ISK from other players. |

I am all for pay to win and so is CCP.
It is the only way to ensure player skill is meaningless.
That way we can be certain that dust will maintain a competitive clan following.

CCP know this game will fail with a pay to win model. Or won't bring in a lot of players compared to the other f2p games on PS3 |
