I'm in the same boat. I am avoiding the game until they fix the problem. Which means there's no testing going on for both of us. Hell, they probably haven't even looked at the bugs I have reported yet anyway.

Yes. I have never played a 'real' beta that did not incorporate their patches into their final client. They will recompile the game and label it 1.0, or retail version, and you will need to download it all over again.
