A deduction to recoil and magazine size nerf, say 18 in the 24 round guns and 20 in the 30 round guns is one idea I have in my mind. As it stands, the tact shouldn't even be in the game as a laser rifle or a sniper would perform better

After playing more and using the laser and tact, gonna say the tact should just be removed from the game. Only thing the tact has going for it is the range, which is still longer than a laser, but I've been having issues getting people's names/hit...
