201. Can Dust Corporations be Independent from Eve Corporations? - in General Discussions [original thread]
Debacle Nano wrote: Formally Invited wrote: You're never going to take "sov" as defined in EVE in a Dust corp. It's just not in the scope of the game. Sovereignty in EVE denotes rule over an entire system. In Dust you're fighting over distri...

202. Can Dust Corporations be Independent from Eve Corporations? - in General Discussions [original thread]
Garrett Blacknova wrote: DUST and EVE corps are one and the same. A corporation can have players from either game OR both. If some of us get organised enough, we'll be able to run things back the reverse way to how everyone's thinking of the g...

203. Knifing a tank - in General Discussions [original thread]
Just an FYI. 2 minutes of constant knifing on an active tank will not kill it. Tanks should be nerfed :(

205. Is M&KB support really coming to DUST 514? - in General Discussions [original thread]
xeto rak wrote: You can always try KB/M and see if it's better than the standard controller. Nothing is broken, it's a matter of choice. +1 for this. Theres no reason why KBM support shouldn't be on these types of games already.

206. Mouse and Keyboard will break the game - in General Discussions [original thread]
Hey, Heres an idea. Lets see how KBM works before we cry about it being added. Also, just because this game is on a PS3 doesn't mean that it HAS to use a DS3. I bought my PS3 to play games, not hold a DS3.

207. How does the bonus SP work - in General Discussions [original thread]
That SP you get when you start playing and it dwindles over time: Does anyone know how it works? Is there a pool of some 500k sp you can get during the period or is it limited to some 100% bonus for an hour? If its based on a set SP pool then pla...

208. What's Up With The CreoDron AR? - in General Discussions [original thread]
Right now the flavor of the month seems to be Creodon ARs and Proto Swarm launchers. Part of that is due to the main map we have to play, Its very open... I hate the two of those but it'd be nice to see how they work with new maps. On a side note...

209. EvE players - in General Discussions [original thread]
The trial isn't nearly enough time to allow you to better understand what dust will be. People say that Eve is a game that doesn't want to be played or its just spreadsheets in space. They are mostly right. Eve is a game that's all about goals an...

210. Tanks are underpowered - in General Discussions [original thread]
I swear that they sometimes weave in and out of obstacles I move through, as if they follow my same flight path. Swarm missiles that is.

212. Tanks are underpowered - in General Discussions [original thread]
Right now Swarms and Forgeguns are the flavor of the month. A good fix would be allowing better turning rates at slow speeds. And often times the tank will turn the wrong direction when it hits an object which adds about 5 seconds to an escape. A...

214. Using Sagaris and Surya - in General Discussions [original thread]
I believe that Armor reppers are slower than Shield boosters, so Armor generally gives higher Max HP. The Sagaris can run from a fight, boost, and be back on the field much quicker than the Surya can. Maybe this is why the Surya feels more squishy...

215. break dancing tank? - in General Discussions [original thread]
I wonder if I can get a LAV up to speed and run off the tower with it. I wonder how far I can go and if it will explode. I've been playing with nano tanks and seeing what areas they can cross with ease. So far the results on this map haven't been...

I've had that happen, I deployed a tank on a tower, drove it off. Landed upside down and spun for about 3 minutes. xD Had to look away from the screen because I was beginning to feel a little sick.

219. -Sigh- Crushed by Drop-ship at Spawn.. - in General Discussions [original thread]
This should still be in the game but with much higher risks. If someone skills up as a pilot and REALLY learns to fly, they should be able to crush easy prey. Right now you can mostly smash into the ground and up out with minor damage.
