The only possible drawback I can see with the new rifles is rather abstract; In faction warfare, you would have to watch your fire carefully, as you could really hurt someone with that thing!

What may have happened is that CCP probably forgot to make the Combat Rifle "bounce" when you fire it like the tactical and burst assault rifles do.

Small problem with your logic: Imagine the enemy team spams a bunch of equipment on one place. You flux it. You could potentially get HUNDREDS, if not THOUSANDS of WP for fluxing a bunch of enemy nanos. People would take andvantage of this broken ...
