Hey CCP you should fire every staff member involved in the "12 Days of Dust" event.
If you can't do em all, just get rid of the person who picked the rewards. Once again my "assets" have been bombarded with ****. No ryhme nor reason to any of it. Just a lazy and PATHETIC attempt at caring.
Even the guy whos job it was to match icons to rewards screwed up. You guys should have been throwing in a 3day omega, LP boosters etc, cool stuff THAT WE CAN ALL USE.
Next time give people what other games do to get people playing, x SP/ISK/LP. Raise the SP cap 120% through out the period. Then for the 12 Days; Day 1 10% extra SP/ISK/SP throught to day 12: 120% SP/ISK/LP. Its that easy.

You must be new.
Last year, there was an event that was basically "behave like a dickbag and ignore the game's objectives and you will be rewarded". It had stuff like "destroy 50 installations".
And if that wasn't ******** enough, the game gave you no indication of progression and the devs didn't even seem sure if neutral structures counted.
The event lasted a week. After three days they finally remembered that there's an ingame "updates" screen and did an update for the first time in months. Naturally, that update was about the event.
So you'd have idiots doing nothing but completing the checklist, which would ebb down after three days... Only for the update to be posted, which brought an even bigger wave of gameplay derailment.
I see no issue with the current event, as it doesn't cause active harm, in contrast to that one. |

That event made me rich, 100 falchions were cashed in the day 1.7 came out. It's not about doing the game harm its about creating an event with almost insulting rewards, then acting like its badass, giving us clues, when each day they clue didn't match the reward, which was disappointment.

Considering that CCP earns money mostly with SP / LP enhancers, giving them away for free would be a loss.
Offering a tast of various items on the contrary is a good idea to push people playing more.
I would have chosen different rewards maybe, but the idea behind the event is good.
If you are an hacker, a cheater o a glitcher, you deserve death. In real life.

They are pixels and data, meaning.... There would be ZERO LOSS. ZERO.
We always get various items and they are usually junk. The idea behind the event was good, everything after that was fail.

Calm down. We all know it was terrible. Whoever worked on the November events should only focus on events from now on or something to do something similar. Those were awesome events. |
