Everything you say is true, except you can just go into Corp > Members > Find your name > Remove all roles > Quit Corp. This may be wrong , but every time I've used this, when I had roles previously, I didn't have to wait 24 hours.

With the Railgun nerf, it's more common than ever. I pour millions of SP into my ADS to make it good, only to get rammed by a zero SP, 70k ISK Militia Dropship. This must be how tankers felt when Militia Tanks were made so effective.
