The free one should be nerfed considerably, the eve strikes should by contrast remain powerful much less blast radius, and less damage. Taking it out completely would not give people the experience of it outside of corp battles.

I am pretty sure it is totally random. I can do poor in a match (lose) and get 5 dropships, do great and get nothing. And it is totally random, has nothing to do with WHAT you kill, or what the enemy lost.

HMG is better vs infantry Sure you can one shot infantry, if you can hit them. Its probably good if you pop and shoot, but in strait up fight, in open or close I beat them fast. I definatly have a harder time with shotguns, AR and HMG than forge...

Unless you have a gurista saga, the starter LAV is basically half the HP of it, and any tech one purchasable one. Not including extra slots.... So they could be, millita free one is junk that can be one shoted by even millita and free AV. Tanks...
