On the end of match screen. Is it just something that hasn't been implemented yet? If so, then does anyone have any idea about what it might be once it is? |

Its equipment you are sometimes rewarded with at the end of a match. It can be regualr tier gear all the way up to prototype equipment and officer class items. You can also salvage vehicles.
Just check out the SP ISK values and check your salvage.
This is the loot you are talkling about I assume. |

Nah, there's loot and salvage. Salvage shows up on the Sp side, but loot shows up on the ISK side. |

I think the OP is referring to the lower right side of the end of match screen, it has a section where it totals your isk for the match. One line is marked "loot". I unfortunately have no idea what it is either.

It's been there for a long time and I don't belive its been implemented yet but maybe it's meant to represent the portion of things salvaged from the battlefield that are unusable but are sold as scrap essentially for extra ISK. |

Yes it will be interesting to see what happens with Loot. It is on the right hand side and grouped with the Isk sub-totals. So far it has never changed from 0 Isk. Salvage is on the left handside and is represented by pictures of the item found. |

That looks like an image from the closed beta. I wonder if CCP introduced it then, removed the function, in open beta and will reactivate it at later date. Or if it just legacy stuff that they have not got around to removing. |

Salvage is Randomly Generated weapons or vehicles. These will occasionally include Officer Weapons*. The current solution is a place holder until the proper solution is in place. It will be similar to EVE. Every item in a battle is tested to see if it survived. If an item survives it will be added to a collection which will be distributed according to some plan currently undefined. It something did not survive then it is lost forever.
Loot is recovered ISK from the battlefield. That has no place holder besides the Loot section in the ISK payout at the end of a battle.
Market -> Assets will be a place to sell surplus items to (???) other players, EVE players or buy items from them would be a reasonable guess.
We will find out how all these work When they are released.

You sure? I've got some Thales and the pistol thingy, among others, in my assets right now. Still no officer MD though.

I believe that from what I have learned from some searching around is that loot and salvage will be earned in the same way.
Meaning performance in game so it is a form of raw back payment rather than salvage that you MAYBE used that game or could later sell to curb some costs. |

I have no idea if that is a bug related to displaying something in Assets that shouldn't be or Not displaying everything in Assets that Should be. Time will tell but clarifying the detail was a good idea. |
