The Cal Assault is currently outclassed by other suits. CPP if you must get rid of the suits bonus to shields, at the very least buff shield extenders. Also I think a good Cal bonus would be x% increase to rail weaponry effective range. You want...

How about if the Cal Assault receives a 3.5% efficacy of shield extenders with 1.5% or 2% bonus to depleted shield recharge(Not regulators). You could also add an effective damage bonus to armor. Say 2%? Reload speed bonus is no good.
