I could go with a midway hot fix or wait, the problem is that these issues never get corrected. Ive been here playing since April and the issues with blue shields, terrain glitches, and matchmaking have been in this game that entire time, these things never get fixed, but in each update we see things like "matchmaking improved" where? How? Have you played a game ever of CFW? I seen a full squad of Nyain San get redlined in cfw 2 days ago, that how bad Caldari blue dots are. I was in a game last week were 7 out of 16 blues made 0 wp, ZERO!!!!!
My point is yes fix these glitches, fix them now, fix them everyday until they are fixed. This is basic game mechanics and functions, they should have been fixed on day 2 of release. Nearly a year after release and I still cant climb a damn hill on Manus Peaks without feeling like im on a damn pogo stick bouncing up and down. Fix the ladder mechanic kicking us off, fix the rail rifle stopping shooting mid clip, fix greandes being able to be thrown down from up high but nkw we cant throw them back up high and flux dropuplinks. Fix hit the damn hit detection for when your in a fight and suddenly shots stop registering.
Fix glitching uplinks, fix switching to equipment and its not there, Fix Ashland map where you spawn at B and it now put you at the CRU that may or may not belong to the enemy. Fix dropships that get dropped from so damn high they explode when they hit the ground. Fix the comms bug, fix fatal error. Fix Scouts, fix grenade registration, I mean wouldnt it be nice to be running see some equipment toss an m1 on it and it destroys it, does that happen, no. We end up having to go back and melee it. Why? Grenades dont register 40 or 50% of the time. Fix spawning on links that have us stuck in walls. Fix emp orbitals getting me banned for equipment damage? Every time I see this I'm not sure if the person really doesn't know or is just trolling, but regardless it gets me every time. You do know that 2.0 doesn't necessarily have to follow 1.9, right? It's hard to see undertones and inflection with alphanumeric communication. No excuse but I've been dealing with people (lately) who can't seem to grasp the very basic concept of satire and sarcasm even when it's made broadly available by stating things such as (satire) and /sarcasm

You remind me off a general from a bygone war that when questioned about napalm strikes killing civillians responded with: now they are good civillians.
Those napalm strikes were not op its just those pesky Viett-Cong civilians not haveing a good counter.
And let me guess : Only your side deserves to call in tanks??
The problem is most folks in a FPS game do not like running vehicles nor do they enjoy running antivehicle. Now add to that a game where the only reasonable counter is its self and in a few weeks see the player counts dropping.

I would say leave them alone until 1.8 is absolutely ready. If 1.8 is going to be a major content release I would very much prefer to not have them waste their time replying to every thread in the forum and just focus instead on getting that update ready with all the content we need.

Also, I can't quite put my finger on what it is, but there is something about the skirmish version of that map that tends to lead to more one-sided battles too. Maybe it's my imagination. Dom is definitely horrible though.

He's trolling. Yes, we're hoping for a mid February / March release for 1.8. The Dev teams are still working on the patch, and generally things are "locked in" for around a month before the patch goes live on TQ. I'll keep you guys updated when I know more specifics.
If they are still working on it and "things are locked in for a month", then it will not happen until at least 1 month from now (early march), right?
