Artificer Ghost wrote: So sorry for your loss. My suggestion: Start squad, lock squad. That way, if blueberries are ABLE to steal your LAV/HAV/Derpship, they deserve it, because when you're in a squad, the wait time is 15 seconds until friendl...

23. New heavy looking for help - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
The Learning Coalition does have at least one heavy insteuctor, Skeletor Voltron I believe. Keep in mind though, if you only talk to one, you only get one point of view and there are many ways to play the Heavy.

24. think your really a pro - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
I only turn AA on when I'm getting proto stomped, I think that's fair. It helps that I only logi when not flying, so I'm used to dying. No way I'm going 30/0 even with AA though.

25. A Gray Beard New to FPS and need help. - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
My only tip for low SP snipers is, unlock a basic light suit and fit a militia profile dampener. If you go with Minmatar you'll also have decent speed to relocate once the enemy starts zeroing in on your location. If you're going to primarily snip...

26. Become a pro in an instant. - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Just as a contrast for new players, to get Core Locus grenades will cost you1,242,000 SP, for less than that you could get Armor Plates to level 3, Armor repairers to level 3 AND Assault Rifle Ops to level 5. There are plenty of viable playstyles,...

If you're talking about activating a vehicle module, simply hold down R1 and use your Right stick to select the module. Here's a tip, you can shut off a module the same way if you don't need it anymore. It only has to cooldown from the point you s...

29. Best thing about 1.7 for new and old players alike - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Let me preface this by saying I'm a Dropship pilot, and I love what they've done with them. In my opinion though, the single best change to game mechanics is one so subtle many may have overlooked it. You can now change the aiming sensitivity for ...

30. Caldari Logistics - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
I'd max your shield regulators, but definitely start leveling armor after. Just concern yourself with plates to begin with, if you're lvl 5 logi you've already got the equivalent of 1 Complex repper, make use of it. Even with the handicapping of s...

What he said, it's your skill level in that dropsuit that gives you the bonus, it's not inherent to the suit itself.

34. Guide to DUST 514: Core Skills - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
This is one of those topics which inspires many arguments, so here goes mine. The core skills are more worth the SP investment up to level 3. They're also dependent on what suit type you use. I crunched the numbers on my Heavy alt, so I'll give th...

With a Std logi with the only Adv equip being my repper I can honestly say, it depends on the squad. I average 200 to 250k, but if you get a squad that just spreads to the 4 winds and always spawns somewhere new you can get as little as 70k. I als...

Very good point, I know I'll be sinking SP back into Dropships (what can I say, flying is my weakness), but I'll try to take care about recommending skills unless I know the patch effect on them. Good looking out.
