281. So are we integrated with Eve now? - in General Discussions [original thread]
lol. Just read the Eve forum thread with all the pilots raging because they can't get onto Sisi because of Dust. There also seems to be no shortage of volunteers for orbital bombardment testing.

282. Future Feature: Training Ground - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
I disagree. While losing your 2mil isk HAV in a training accident would suck, it would also make the pilots that much more careful when learning to fly and/or drive. Now, the corporations would likely foot the bill for the equipment, but I see th...

284. So are we integrated with Eve now? - in General Discussions [original thread]
The word on the Eve forums is that although the Dust-side integration is done, and Dust is running on Sisi, the Eve-side isn't in place, so no cross-system chatting and no strikes. I assume one of the next few builds of Eve on Sisi will put this i...

285. Additional seats - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
Wouldn't it make more sense to run along side of the HAV? Historically, tanks have needed infantry support to protect them from close-in infantry in anything tighter than open country.

Well it wouldn't be the first time someone ripped the turret off of a tank in order to carry troops

287. Future Feature: Training Ground - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
Not thinking this for now, but looking at all of the discussion on the difficulty of vehicle operations, and the importance of teamwork, it would be cool for a corp to have a training area. This would simply be a map with only one team. This woul...

289. Buildings: Is there a list or description? - in General Discussions [original thread]
My understanding is that once a territory is captured by a corporation, it can build large structures between battles to make isk, mine minerals for Eve, or possibly manufacture in-game items directly for sale on the market. For more details, see...

290. [Request] I know you aren't supposed to run in the halls BUT... - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
Since you can access the leaderboard with Dpad, and everything else through neocom, I'm assuming it's for immersion. I spend my time looking at the clouds. Can't wait until the map and the planet reflect where we're fighting.

291. Buildings: Is there a list or description? - in General Discussions [original thread]
Iteration. That's the key to longevity and success. No arguments or concerns here. Which isn't going to stop the wild conjecture, of course. Now, the big towers with the pipes sticking out of them are vaguely reminiscent of a cracking tower, and...

I think I heard in one of the videos from FanFest last year that the big towers are "Biomass Processors".

293. Buildings: Is there a list or description? - in General Discussions [original thread]
I love the various buildings in this game. The huge industrial towers, the close-in hi-tech compounds, the drab concrete slab low-rent structures, and so on. But does anyone know what the buildings are? As I understand it, these buildings are all...

295. Drone/Fighter/Fighter-Bomber Strikes - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
True. Though I was thinking that since fighters and fighter-bombers in Eve are supposed to be piloted vehicles (not by clones but by crew) that it makes sense for the eventual Dust ground-based fighters and fighter-bombers to be variants of the ex...

296. Drone/Fighter/Fighter-Bomber Strikes - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
I don't think it would be too bad. The eve side isn't too bad: Once you've targeted a ground target, assign drones to attack it. The drones would have to go off-grid, maybe "warping" towards the planet. They can't do that now (except fighters), ...

298. Drone/Fighter/Fighter-Bomber Strikes - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
I assume that when you set up a "fleet" or whatever with an Eve Pilot, you'll be able to "Warp to Battle", taking you to a point over the planet that has line of site on the battlefield. These wouldn't need to be generated dynamically, since the b...

299. Motion sickness - in General Discussions [original thread]
Some of those LAV drivers are CRAZY, and if you're riding shotgun... Seriously, the draw distance was tripled on the last build, so there is more geometry "moving" when you look around. While this is generally good, in that it looks better and yo...

300. Drone/Fighter/Fighter-Bomber Strikes - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
Quote: Realistically, rounds (or lasers, for that matter) would keep going in a straight line until they hit something, so shooting a planet from orbit with a destroyer actually makes a great deal of sense. Controlling drones from that far, ho...
