Caldari assault is still superior. More EHP, shorter shield delay, faster shield recharge. min assault only gets faster movement and extra sidearm ammo.

The assault rifle is still better, the bright muzzle flash on the SCR creates an illusion of recoil and makes it almost impossible to see your target when firing
