Reload speed bonuses barely matter. After a certain point in the reloading process, (when the clip is in), sprinting will cnacel the last part of the animation but still leave you with a full clip. Super useful for HMGs and other long reload time ...

The front turret blows. Turret location should be tied to the weapon slot (like it shows in the fitting window) rather than defaulting your single small turret to the front.

There is definitely some kind of bug with grenades. I've been killed by core locus grenades out to 30+ meters. That's a bug with the grenades or a display bug with the death screen.
