I still say active scanners are a little bugged. Nonetheless, I continue to use them on some of my logi suits, esp. the CQC oriented chubby chaser suits. Knowing is half the battle. (700 dps HMG backed up by my proto reps is the other half, lol)

The dispersion is graphical, yes, but it's surprisingly difficult to ignore. You just want to pull your aim down so bad , it takes a bit to retrain yourself. Now, that blinding muzzle flash on the other hand... that was no joke.
