I think the only thing that needs to be checked is gun elevation, as Judge Radamanthus brought up. Dropships should have the ability to use the flight ceiling as their escape zone; however, this isn't the case with the 45 degree tilt on guns.

Yep, arrived safely and hit fast and hard with culture shock but I have a friend to take me in. The dropship thankfully caried all passengers to their destination with only minor turbulence from swarm launchers. Thanks for the turbulence nerf CCP!
