According to Sony Terms of Service, the sale and the terms involved is no longer valid. Most Terms of Service are worded in such ways to prevent frivolous lawsuits like this. Also the wording doesnt say AUR, it says items not currency.

NPC's who own planets have likely hired entire armies to protect their stuff, many NPC corps have entire armadas that can take on detachments of empire navies to the point it would be a costly for either to really engage each other.
