I use them as a last resort, or against redliners I can't get to. Particularly with this char, plasma cannon and traps only work if you can get the time to set them up.

Make milita tanks and gear more expensive. Reduce the range on large blasters. No more cheap tanks that have little to fear because they are out of reach of most infantry AV weapons.

Large blasters need a range reduction. I know I've been hit for significant damage from 215m on foot and much father when in a dropship. If they had to get in closer to slaughter infantry the infantry would have a better chance of fighting back.

I think the point is, there are some good tankers who are hard to kill but the majority of the tank spam isn't on that level. Most tanks can be taken out with a bit of planning and effort.
