Just press it once. Lag will be gone sooner or later. Facing the tank is good for me. I know where the hell I am the instant I exit because I see the tank. If I was facing a strange wall I would be very confused which way to even start running away.

We already have a thrown explosive weapon. Grenades. Remote explosives should be placed on the ground, or just shoved along the ground (like sliding it under a tank) Right now it's too easy to use RE like normal grenades with a custom timer.
