I think it might be partially because that spawn point vanishes as soon as the driver gets out. No one wants to wait 9.99 seconds to spawn in, only to watch the point disappear from the map, leaving them to find another spawn point. Not to mention...

Point out where it says your suit has a 50m scan radius. Most suits only have a base range of 10-20 meters. Assaults are in the 15 range with maxed skills. If you want more, you're going to have to use a lot of modules or spec into scouts.
