Hi. My question is, is the officer shotgun broken? I tried to use it, and when it was supposed to kill the guy (I hit him, Im sure), it did no damage. Is it just me or what?

The weapon currently suffers from hit detection issues. However, a simple solution to getting your shots to land is to make sure that your opponents's balls are the focal points within the SG reticule. This ensures a 100% hit confirmation every time. |

Can't honestly tell if trolling, or legit bug fix...  I think I'll fit a few extra millimeters of plating on the groin area of my dropsuits though, just to be safe...

Well I feel sheepish. Never know though~ CCP could be sadistic, programming in specific areas for certain weapons~ Seeing as the plasma cannon goes right through a clone's legs, perhaps the shotgun does the opposite?
