41. Figured out why ADSs seem so sluggish now. - in General Discussions [original thread]
Oh man, I hated those because I never got used to the lack of thumbsticks. I got my PS1 when they started being packaged with the Dualshock and Resident Evil: Director's Cut had just come out (my mother wanted to play it). The rumble combined with...

It is worded rather funny, now that you mention it. Still, please, call in a MLT dropship and compare the engine wash lengths which correlate with how much thrust you're getting with how hard you press L1. It's not hard to test.

Good ******* god, must I copy-paste the text from the article? Fine. Dualshock 3 controller, under Input 6+ù Pressure-sensitive buttons (Triangle, Circle, Cross, Square, L1, R1)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DualShock#DualShock_3 It's L2 and R2 that aren't pressure sensitive. I thought those ones were. Still, L1 and R1 definitely are.

That's right, he didn't nerf the maneuverability or speed of them. He nerfed how hard you need to press L1/L2. Do you understand what pressure sensitivity means? It applies more or less thrust depending on how hard the button is pressed.

Some bloody idiot enabled the DS3 pressure sensitivity on the thrusters when it was previously binary (full or none). Now you have to mash the hell out of L1 for top speed.

47. Scanning stats - in General Discussions [original thread]
Only the Gallente Logistics bonus affects Active Scanners. If they're stacking enough dampeners, no scout can be scanned ever by any suit, passively or actively. Two of them need to be cloaked to do this.

Redback, what are you doing using Light Damage Modifiers with 2 Bolt Pistols? You use Sidearm Damage Modifiers.

Yes, I'm so sure that me and the one other guy in midfield are so valuable to the six redline STD snipers on the map that is 300m from homepoint.

You snipers are still worthless, get in a BPO Frontline for God's sake, at least you can absorb bullets for me that way.

52. Rattati... Are you going to nerf my BrScP? - in General Discussions [original thread]
I think he may be going off of what the in-game stats say, which is .25s charge time. Having tested it a bit, it looks like you guys did change it to .40s but someone forgot to update that entry on its stat sheet.

53. Hotfix Delta - Unoffical Patch Notes - in General Discussions [original thread]
It seems the 'Templar' and 'Dren' Scrambler Pistols missed the CPU/PG adjustment. They're still at their old 11/2. If I don't bring it up now, eventually someone will decry it as "Pay to Win".

And if I'm not using a Scout suit, I can easily lose 3-5 equally expensive proto suits in a match to them. What's your point?
