It's my first time here so hope I have put it in the right section? <- DUST forum virginity now gone LOL
Anyways my question is, in a Public Contract why do people shoot at their team mates? You can't even kill your team  .
If it is just immaturity or "for fun" can't they just go stand in front of a tank even a heavy... I didn't say whose fun.
Reason For Posting - I just go distracted by a "team mate" shooting at me and died from a sneaking cloaky guy; he died so yay for karma.

People usually shoot logi's for reps PR nano's. Sometimes they'll shoot at assaults for one as well.

If someone is greedy they may shoot one of their team mates hacking an objective. If they panic they will let go of the hack allowing the team mate who just shot to run in and start the hack getting the WP for themselves. |

I'll shoot at a teammate to warn them of danger coming from behind, though they usually still won't notice as they're tunnel visioned.
People shoot at the end of a match for the hell of it.
Though some people just like to shoot at anything. |

Usually, someone shoots at me when they want me to come with them to do something (like get in a vehicle) and I'm not on comms. Pay attention to see if that is the case. Two is better than one.

Quick off topic, but when people shoot at your LAV so they can get a ride to the (lacking any droplinks) front line, is there a way to turn off the team mates only lock out or are you just forced to wait for it to go so they can get in? |

On a related note, if a blueberry is shooting your LAV, it's the universal sign for hitchhiking so please pull over and let me in (though I understand if you're busy or in a squad).

Chances are you did something painfully stupid and the blueberry was trying to grab your attention/deliberately screw with you.
He was probably trying to tell you there was a scout following you, or you may have stolen a vehicle of his earlier.

theres a few other reasons as well.
they shoot t at your tank that has no room for another person because they want a ride.
they shoot at your lav so they can sit in it and refuse to get out so that when you try to be helpful to the team they can drive off leaving you in your fat suit stranded with half the other team around you.
needless to say no i wont give you a lift...
skills are not being applied till 30 secs after spawn fixes before nerfs thank you.
