There was this scout who saved my bacon twice - then dropped an armour repairer!
I tried aiming at him to get his/her name, but it was a long one, he/she was always strafing and I'd have liked to send a thank you note to them (mebe some isk)
Is there an easier way to get someones name? |

The only thing you can do is try to catch enough of the name that you'll be able to pick them out from the scoreboard. For instance, with my name, you might remember that it starts with R and is two words - usually I'll be the only player with a name like that.
I'd like CCP to increase font size or contrast so it's easier to pick up full names in the heat of battle. |

Agreed. I've sometimes spent a whole battle fighting along side someone, shadowing them and thinking they'd be a great addition to my corp...just to find towards the end that it was a corp mate once he stood still long enough.

Yeah this needs to be a thing, I always try to send respect mails to any random logibros i encounter, but sometimes I can't because I can't get there damn names. |

also a small tip, both for more wp and the added bonus of revealing names, if you have a rep tool it shows not only everyone in range's health bars but also their names. It might help you as well as the team if you can rep some people. even the militia rep tool is a good bonus.
