I say buff the HMG, All HMGs should do 50 damage at least and have zero over heat, they should also have auto aim and increase movement speed by 600% and leech HP off of things they shoot. The HGM should also have infinite Ammo and grant God Mode ...

seriously, something needs to be done to improve them. Sure you can get 800+ Points of armor, but that don't matter when the best passive regen you can have is about 12 HP/s and you'll have a 18+% speed penalty. And you still get chopped to bits...
