Since there have been changes to how SP is earned, with veteran players not getting any SP unless they reach a certain WP threshold, I think its only fair to now remove the AFK timer from booting people out of the game, it seriously makes it hard ...

You can farm isk with the isk station and trade it to your main already, you'd be able to farm experimental/officer gear on your alts and trade them to your main when simple trading is introduced, but you won't be able to just trade warbarge compo...
