The delay between shots is very exploitable outside of Long ranges, allowing for anyone who isn't bricking their suits to jump to the side, causing them to miss their shots. CQC only works against people who are very slow and/or can't strafe comp...

You should get a STD Medium Frame. Even if it's just the Basic Frame, it'll do you much better as you have more slots and CPU/PG. But I'm glad to see that you found a weapon combo you can work well with.

Assaults are pretty solid now that they got their HP and Slot buffs (along with some CPU/PG), I'd say the Minmatar's the best Assault now, but Amarr's not bad either.
