502. Ghost's Guide to New Heavies - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
First, background on me, if you don't already know me, and have no reason to follow these tips. I'm a self-proclaimed veteran, having played for maybe 4 months now, accruing around 3.5 million SP in this character. I've had around 5 heavies, thro...

504. What should my build look like? - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Someone said the Caldari should use Low Slots for Shield Regulators. Don't do that. Try and get an Armor Repairer and/or some Armor Plates. The thing with the Caldari, is that as soon as they run out of shield, you can pretty much suicide right th...

Try Shotguns, they're so fun. Maybe use Knives as a sidearm?

506. Logi looking at Scout - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Yea, 1.9 is about 2 months. I'm only around 3,000,000 milion, playing for a bit longer than you, it seems, although this alt came VERY late, after I got bored with Snipers and Assaults. :P

507. Logi looking at Scout - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Yea, scouts are very nice. I love the speed of the Minmatar. It used to be the Gallente-Only thing back in Chromosome, but now the only role that Gallente can efficiently play is Sniper. Minmatar like the CQC and speed. Gallente like to Snipe. ...

508. Why you keep running away?!?!? - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
If you get skilled enough with the MD though, you don't need Flux 'Nades. I mean, Falcs is skilled, but he get's faster kills. I don't like to be pure Anti-Infantry, so I carry AV 'Nades.

Nonono. Repair Tools and Ninite Injectors are totaly different, and yes the Injectors are broken. But I carry a Repair Tool on my Demolitions, and it works fine.

510. Debating what to respec into - Advice requested - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Well, I'm not a huge technical player, so I'm not the best source. I've never tried anything above the Standard SCR, from lack of SP. And I'm not open to my PS3 quite right now, so Idk the numbers. :P

511. Why you keep running away?!?!? - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Yea, one of my first posts was a guide for Logistics, that applied to Assaults, telling them what NOT to do. I'm sure that was on the list. It is sadly not updated to Uprising, and I don't think it will be any time soon.

512. Debating what to respec into - Advice requested - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
I say Gallente Logistics. They have the most equipment slots, something a Logistics value, and they get a CPU/PG reduction for equipment, so you can fit more Complex Shield Modules on, or some Armor Plates + KinCats. :)

513. Why you keep running away?!?!? - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
The MD requires an incredible amount of skill. You actually need real-world knowledge to operate it, at times. It requires knowing the limits, the strengths, and physics knowledge (for lack of a better word) to calculate where your hits will land,...

514. Why you keep running away?!?!? - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Yea, us Logistics are VERY under-estimated at times. I wouldn't suggest being a Medic, if you want to get kills. The Logistics is very nice (My favorite role, since I switched from Sniping) because it's incredibly adaptable. You can pretty much ma...

515. From gallente to minmatar suits - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Right now, they all have their benefits. DUST 514 is all about specialization. The Minmatar Scouts, for example, are for melee fittings and recon. They have a Nova Knife damage buff, which helps them with specializing into Knives. Minmatar are me...

516. Caldari Logi - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
If you want a more well-rounded suit (assuming you applied for the optional respec), go with Amarrian Logistics. I specced into this, thinking it was good, but I realized it had downsides... PROS: It's very well-balanced in shield and armor, ...

518. sp points reduced? noob - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
The SP points will be reduced by a small fraction, every time you finish a game. It's called the Weekly Cap. It will reset on Wednesday, I promise. :) Btw, I suggest joining 'Bojos School of The Trades' or 'DUST University'. I'm a student in 'BSo...

519. best "easy to use" weapon - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Mass Driver. Definitely the Mass Driver. Ok, that was a lie, I'm sorry. A lot of people say the Assault Rifle, but I disagree. I've always found the Scrambler Rifle more fun and generally more easy to use. Someone mentioned why it was easier earl...
