I am currently a Logi with 1.9m SP.In the grand scheme of things that is probably not a lot at all.So it is probably not too late to start going down the scout path if I chose to?
I played a couple rounds and I love the speed and def love nova knives. |

I think you can still request a final skillpoint reset if you act now. Then you will have 1.9 mil SPs to invest in nova knives. A year from now our initial skill choices won't matter that much but right now its best to specialize in one thing so we can be competitive.

Yea, scouts are very nice. I love the speed of the Minmatar. It used to be the Gallente-Only thing back in Chromosome, but now the only role that Gallente can efficiently play is Sniper.
Minmatar like the CQC and speed.
Gallente like to Snipe.
The Minmatar have a bonus to Knife and Melee damage, so it's good for them to go CQC. The Gallente have a range/precision bonus to scanning, which is incredibly valuable to a Sniper. Well, hope this helped. I don't have a very good answer here, as I love my Logistics, so of course, I'm going to vote Logi. But it's really about the fun, in the end. And I like being a Demolitions, it's fun. But it's really about the fun you have in the end. I'd suggest it if you have fun doing chaotic, crazy things. But if you like the more explosive stuff, I can tell you what I run with. :) |

I already got it and was convinced I was sure about Logi so I just specced back/further into it.So those points will just have to stay there lol. |

1.9 million skillpoints is only 2-3 months worth of game time and who knows someday you may go back to logi. :)

Yea, 1.9 is about 2 months. I'm only around 3,000,000 milion, playing for a bit longer than you, it seems, although this alt came VERY late, after I got bored with Snipers and Assaults. :P |

I have been playing since about 2 days after release (damn thing wouldn't work for me the first two days) And while yes I could probably make a new toon and start back over with 500k and be a better scout than I am trying to be right now,I do not want to lose what progress I have made.I want to make one toon and continue advancing it one way or another.That said I have considered the new toon,I just don't think I can do it lol. |

Do it, Minmatar nova scout is awesome! Unless you spent all of your 1.9m on dropsuit skills you won't lose a ton even if you don't get a respec. A lot of the skills are transferable, especially core skills ;) |

I spent enough sp to get advanced minnie logi,other than that most of what I have will carry over.And ya know what.I think I will lol.Scout it is! |

Also, if you need any tips for scoutting, one of our own (Vyuru, specifically...) is my #1 most trusted Shotgun Scout. Talk to her if you need any help. :D
Using Knives as sidearm was the plan all along.Though I am mainly using ONLY the knives right now to get practice,and that immense satisfaction when you kill someone with them,I still carry an AR at the moment.Tried shotgun before and wasn't sure but can try it again.Just seems hard with the aiming right now. |
