Amarr Assault is most versatile in my opinion. Amarr are typically armor tankers but with the three high slots you can both armor and shield tank. You can also forego shields for damage mods and go full armor to pretty much be a hard hitting B...

I do use the Amarr Assault suit, but even with SCR at V and SCR Proficiency at I, it overheats after six shots even though it seriously hits like a train.
