I want this implemented because people complain that Swarms take no skill, now they will.

They will not be OP against infantry because the splash damage is way to low. |

Swarm Launchers take no reflexes but I think saying they take no skill is going too far. A good vehicle driver who is targeted by a SL will quickly move behind an obstacle. Very often this can be done before the first volley hits and almost always before the second volley even in a HAV.
A skilled SL user has to pay a lot of attention to their position and timing. They want to get to a position where their target has few obstacles to place between themselves and the SL user, and they need to hold their fire until they know their target won't be able to get away before the kill.
I personally find forge guns terrifying and SLs a nuisance.
Plus SLs are super weak vs. other infantry. A lot of the time I'll charge them in an LAV, bail then take them out with a HMG. It's kind of laughable, and a tactic I almost never employ against forge gun users who can nearly destroy me with a single shot that sends my vehicle rolling. |

Agreed, though, most vehicle players seem to think otherwise... |

You telling me that a target was going so fast in a tight circle around a box that all the swarm missiles made a complete loop around a box? I have never read a more bull faced lie on these forums.

Well I've both used SL and driven vehicles and I'm telling you, in both an LAV and HAV I consider forge guns a far greater threat than SLs. SLs are just too damned easy to avoid.
I personally felt the ease of lock ons for the rocket launcher in Halo 2 ruined the game. It's was my least favorite of the series mainly due to that one weapon. But the SL does low enough damage, has slow enough refire, a small enough clip, and is easy enough to evade that I just shrug it off. |

I managed to make a guy abandon his tank in an attempt to kill me... I was using a mil SL with no SP invested lol. Not saying SL is OP but that, that guy was dumb as hell. He did manage to kill me but I was so stubborn as I managed to combine volleys of swarms and av nades to take out his empty tank (F*ck yo tank lol).
I was really happy with what I did as my loadout (besides the hives and av nades) was free and last time I checkekd... tanks cost a lot
`sigh, Just another fun game of DUST. |

To be honest the only thing I think is necessary for CCP to change is the flight bath of Swarms against Dropships. Right now it is silly that they waste a ton of time getting behind it, instead of just attacking there from or side. That is my only issue. I recommended the laser guided system because people keep saying the swarm launcher does not take skill and that it needs to be nerfed. I want to avoid that. |

This is from an AV player who has proto swarms. Give them the current damage of Plasma Cannons and a 200% boost to speed.
Now they kick ass at attacking high-speed targets, but don't do ******** amounts of damage.
Then give current Swarm damage to the Plasma Cannon and give it a faster projectile and less arc.
