This is how I feel about the flaylocks. Hopefully they won't have had a Laser Rifle pulled on 'em. |

Nope, you get 8 shots MAX now but with lower damage and splash radius. All you would need now is gun game (Scrambler Pistol is king btw). |

You do realize that all the sidearms have higher DPS than most light weapons right? Are you one of those people that tries to use an AR in CQC?

Then you should already know how powerful sidearms are, FFS man. |

LOL
I thought spam was the issue - what did they do..... nothing to RoF and gave you the possibility of more shots to spam.
They said they wanted it to be a skill shot so reducing splash radius and damage is fine but then they also reduce direct damage.
Many complained about the fitting but they made it even easier to fit.
People that want to abuse it will just go for Core if they arent there already and then just use the other skills as well. Dont forsee much people using the other variants.

They nerfed them pretty hard though - have to see how it is in game.
CCP better continue improvement of hit detection or the weapon will be like the old MD - all bark |

They didn't listen very well and they contradicted themselves in the dev blog.
Everyone knew that if any of the FP's were op it was the core, but they even nerfed the crappy FP's.... They said they wanted this to be a skill weapon that was devastating with a skill shot (direct hit) and then they lowered the direct hit damage.
Again, they're not increasing clip size... They're reducing the pool carried on the std and adv models and it's staying the same at the pro lvl (21) 3 in the clip 18 on person.
The mighty 2m of splash really wasn't the issue, anyone who used one knows that this 2m seemed like 2 feet... Currently splash only registers if you hit within 1-2 feet of them, 2m was a generous number.
They should've lowered splash damage, kept direct damage the same, raised pg and made the rof a little bit slower.
I'm curious to how it will feel though. |

Which was the biggest hit of all.
I hope the splash reduction doesnt hurt too much because then everyone will stop using it because it cant reliably hit where they aim. CCP will feel they did a good job but that wont be the case. |

R.I.P. Flaylocks
Oh well, onto the SMG's.
They will get nerfed next.
I do agree with the contradiction though, kinda funny. |
