How many are there, still playing I mean. And when I say Vets I mean "Beginning of Chromosome, actually have a clue, not a noob" type player. I don't think any play anymore. "I'm fairly certain it's all just starry-eyed CCP-cool-aid-sipping, this game will get better some day noobs. And Fanboys.
But I just wanted to make sure. |

Not entirely sure I like your tone in this question but I'll bite. One vet accounted for. Still here because I like this game and nothing has happened that I felt was worthy of changing that opinion. Funny cult mass suicide joke there. I don't follow ccp much and never heard of them before this game so I'm not a fanboy or whatever. However I do think this game will progress into something great down the line. |

I still play but not nearly as much as I used to. Used to cap out at most 2 days after the sp reset; now I'm lucky if I play enough to cap out before it resets again. I didn't even play enough during the 3x sp event to cap out. |

End of closed beta-Start of open. 15mil sp, 400m isk, rank 185 or so on WP board. Been afking and not playing as much, pretty much wait for PC battles. |

I dont really consider myself a 'vet', however I did start in closed beta, not too long before the game went into open beta.

I think you should be asking how many "Newbies still here", Vets will always be around, and so is Fanboys. I remember about 200 Diehard Vets from Freespace 2, keep it the game going for about 2 years by paying for the servers from their own pocket.. they even made their own Stats Server, and chat lobby server...Actually... I hope CCP is not looking at me for player retention stats.. i was one of that Donkeys. |

I was one of the first few thousand allowed into the closed beta. Back then we had to sign up, and if we were lucky they would let us in. Ive been playing since late june/early july of last year, and I haven't stopped playing fo rmore then two weeks at a time. |

Present (Actually in China now). I started playing at the end of E3 I think. That was when the Creodron was the game's best weapon, spawn killing was still a thing, and dropship crushing/tower camping drove everyone crazy. |

Piercing! Long time no see my friend.
Closed beta vet here. I however, am only here in spirit. Like Piercing, my gaming time is limited these days so I have to pick and choose carefully what I play when I get the chance. Sadly it has not been Dust for the last two months since Uprising is terrible. I however, do wish the game would succeed, so I just sit back and wait for it to do so before returning. |
