I've been here since open beta in January. I enjoy playing almost everyday and I still believe this game is continually getting better..... its just taking a while to be great. |

I started on my Heavy character at the tail end of closed beta.
Switched this toon into a tanker with Uprising, now mostly play this while AFKing my heavy. Both have around 12 million SP.
Not being an infantry player for the first month of Uprising saved the game for me. If I had not had this toon to put into a tnaker role I probably would have just quit.
Still having trouble going back to ground fighting, it just is so unsatisfying with all the BS currently in the infantry balance. |

Lol being a vet in DUST is prob the most depressing thing there is just means you've suffered longer than everyone else. But ya been playing like a year and half now. |

This 'look down our nose at noobs' attitude is nauseating. The game needs noobs to become vets so the player base grows to a financially viable level. If you spent more time thinking about how ccp could improve the game for vets and noobs alike, the game might have a chance to meet its potential some day. |

I'm still here :D i even remember when DS's were free, and fuel injectors made you go x100 the normal speed, often launching you into structures with ease. And the pain of having only Logistics to fly and no assault was so bad.... glad we can at least shoot at people ourselves now.. |

Been here since the end of E3, helping folks learn to fly dropships and giving feedback on them. Not enjoying being ignored and abused for my efforts, but I like to tell myself that one day CCP will take my advice to heart and DUST will have a viable pilot role.
I was lucky to find a great corp early on, and that makes the game fun even when its obvious shortcomings get really annoying. I don't think I would play just to grind "for the future" if it weren't enjoyable at all. Of course I'm hoping that it improves into the highly coordinated strategic shooter we were promised, but I'm not starry eyed. |

Been playing since first release of codes for the closed beta. back when swarm launchers were used more for anti-infantry then anti-vehicle.
And playing since that time and seeing the changes is the reason why i think this game will get better. |

Been playing Dust 514 for over a year and half now. Currently on a 6 month ban for talking smack to CCP. I already have one warning on this account too. Waiting for my main to come back online and talk more smack to CCP.

Yeah sure. Been playing steady since June 2012. I consider Dust my main game. Usually cap out each week but not always. Only other game I played this long was Killzone 3. Love Dust sorry if that makes me a Fanboy. For those who left or are thinking of leaving...best of luck in your next title. |
