Caldari Logistic Suits are still so freaking useful after this planned and the upcoming adjustment afterwards. I mean I don't see why you would not want to use the suit afterwards for keeping a squad well supplied, up and ready, and good to go.
A facilitator of war if you will...
I also find it that the Caldari Assault is probably no longer going to be considered the worst Assault suit anymore.
But as a guy that plays every role dunno what all the crying is about. |

It probably has something to do with having the usefulness of their shield extender skill suddenly lowered, and suddenly needing to skill into regulators to make use of their suits bonus.
Not to mention that they won't know if CCP intends to keep these bonuses upon switching to more logistics based bonuses, and with everyone at CCP laughing at new players who struggle to grasp this stuff as is, it's not too hard to see why people might be upset.
I'm used to CCP shitting on my dreams, so it doesn't bother me.

in a game where you can make any suit play any role, people tend to not like it when suits are literally forced to play one type of roll. Especially one that a lot of people speced heavily into said suit.
Oh hey, you see that heavy suit, and how you can swap out for the HMG for a light weapon? yup, we'll remove that so you're forced to only use heavy weapons. ( I would not doubt that this would happen at some point in time because of the new command suit)
You see that scout suit? yea, it's not a front line soldier, so we took away any tank you could mod it with. We like it when they cant fight in hectic battles.
oh hey, we nerfed the logi suits so they do les killing, and more healing. If you do more killing, and less healing in the future, we'll probably further balance it so that does not happen ;) |

I plan on doing plenty of killing with the cal logistics suit when I get it. Damn thing screams front line demolitions and spotter as well as combat medic. Good mix of speed and extremely low down tie and an ability to fit a comfortable tank is quite useful for this round of changes still. |

I'm just trying to say that there are two sides to the story, and it's wrong to assume everyone is in the same boat just because they picked the same suit. |

In many Amarrian vessels, a creature known as a Fedo is used to clean ships, both on the inside and outside. They are pretty much mobile garbage disposals. They are quite primitive, produce highly irritating fumes that smell like rot, and only live a couple of weeks. There is a known illness for male Fedo's though, that causes them to screech loudly continuously. The only way to make them stop is to kill them. The main cause of this disease is when they are moved from one type of environment to another suddenly. Some biologist have suggested that it isn't a disease though. More in less the creature is disturbed from sudden changes or the inability to adapt quickly enough to a new environment. Whatever the cause may be, CCP better tread lightly, or a lot of Fedo's will have to be put down. |

I honestly don't see what the **** people's bitchin about. They KNEW it was broken, and WOULD be fixed to do combat medic (and apperantly, quite effectively so), but they STILL chose to do that bullshit, and now they are going to ***** and moan about it? Now that's a damn shame.

The change to racial bonus was the right call. Nerf to CPU is unnecessary and hurts the suits intended role

I don't understand the whining, the thing still has 9 mod slots, 2 more than the assault counterpart, and the extender bonus on top of that was overkill. Now it loses that bonus and some CPU and everybody is all "WAAAAAHHHH WAAAAAAH", I wish they would shut their whiny traps. The thing will still be a force to be reckoned with, and one of the best combat suits.

They nerfed ONE logi suit, it was OP compared to the assault counterpart, and compared to the other logis. Stop pretending all logis are under attack. They also buffed the Amarr logi, 1 more low slot at proto, more PG, sidearm at all tiers, and 3rd equipment slot at ADV. Why do people say CCP is destroying combat logi roles, yet ignore the massive buff to Amarr logi; especially the sidearm thing. |

Can't call it an exploit if it's in-game content working as intended. I skilled into Gallente Logistics, but I don't blame anyone wanting a respec, since they're being punished for skilling into the best thing available. |

I thought the worst was the armarr then gallente and caldari always had the most hp. |

Another poor choice of wording...
I can stand the loss of the racial bonus as it really only means I can survive for one less bullet, what I can't really follow is the taking away of the 20CPU. I'm already using an exile in order to be able throw out the good nano's and droplinks, maybe I will switch to the flaylock like everyone else as the cpu and pg is so reduced on that truly op weapon... can knock a dropship around better than a forge gun. (But this just looks like a money grab to me as it looks like I will need to buy those m2 contact grenades and their 30cpu difference from the proto type level; so many questionable ways to go here.)
Right they read the word logi and instead of looking at the logi lav with the insane ability to withstand concentrated fire, and heal the player who jumped out of it and is using it to sponge ungodly amounts of damage, they went to the suits.
The only reason why I went LOGI in the first place was because they took away the 2nd equipment slot on the proto assualt suits, so if I wanted ammo and the ability to revive a team member - it was/ now is my only choice.
CCP gave no reason for the CPU reduction, I'd like to know why it is 20? It was not like you could carry all proto equipment or modules. I'll get the final cpu upgrade and the pg to level 5, core upgrades to level 5 and weapon and explosives cpu to level 5, IF I still can't fit it what I want I will lobby for the ability to do so, since you made one change I'm sure other changes are going to be coming.
But what it really comes down to is that the there IS NO NEW CONTENT, it will still be the same 3 modes with the same 4 maps.
Then again there is nothing better than being on the losing side of a 50 clone ambush that goes on past 50 clones so much that the last players on the losing side are usely hunted down by an angry mob of pitch fork weilding villagers.... so maybe if ccp finished one of their changes, I might think of going a little easier on the people making these changes. |

Yeah..I did abandon my Caldari suit for a while, but i'm back to it now. I just have the Scout and the Commando suit in standby, just in case CCP fixes that suits. And as always.. i have the Heavy suit for "emergencies ". |

Come now. We can't cater to those who choose not to read the forums. It is through this space all of the information released to the community is passed. If you want to be more informed, open up your computer or phone and become more informed. I feel no more pity for someone who was blindsided with this change than I would if an uneducated man hopped up and asked why the country was changing, or why a new building was being built down the street. There are easy and free ways to stay up to date on what happens in DUST. I've been in China for the past month and I still know what's going on around here.
For those who hopped into a game advertized as a very deep, number heavy MMOFPS and chose not to stay on top of the changes that happen in the game. If DUST is the a casual shooter to you, fine. Go for it and have fun. But if you are spending all of your SP skilling all the way into Cal Logi and you don't bother to check the "news", unknown changes are your burden to bear. |

Deal with it guys; its not like those SP are magically gone. When your corp asks for Logi you can at least X up and say "yeah, I can CLogi" |

Btw its minmatar, Amarrians use minmatar to clean ships Minmatar use Fedos. Though I have to say the gallente advertising campaign with fedo lady was by far the strangest. |

Either way you have to agree there is value in having the core skills needed by the cal logi already upgraded would equally benefit not just the cal assault but also the cal light and cal heavy family of suits, and despite the current planned changes we have now and all and the near coming additional changes in the future the Cal Logi is still an extremely viable suit on the field for the roles it could possibly fill from AV to Anti Infantry Support and as more roles are realized and brought forth though the existence of new modules, skills, and bonuses from various sources the suits are going to only get more diverse from here on out.
I expect that all of our suits are expected to look nothing similar a year from now and its going to be a seriously bumpy ride along the way. I mean what if CCP does say screw it get rid of tech tiers and have one tier per suit class? what then?This is where the SP system will actually begin to shine because the SP levels will always be valued in some form or fashion unless it was overnerfed to nothing which as long as there is an attentive CPM that shouldn't happen for too long. I mean to some players this can be seen as a buff to the suit. I have seen some monstrous shield recharge builds that required a high damage near instant gib shot to kill in the past, I expect that to be more common with the cal logi now along with the new shield module.
Cross Training a term I expect to become far more common as veterans start capping out one suit will start looking for a means to fulfill a new role as quickly as feasibly possible without spending too much SP into it. This is where racial diversity comes into play because things that one caldari suit needs is nearly the same as what just about every other caldari suit wants. Shields, The amount of shields and most especially the recovery of shields. |

The tankers survived the missile nerf in codex (which was far worse by the way). The Callogis will survive this. |
