It probably has something to do with having the usefulness of their shield extender skill suddenly lowered, and suddenly needing to skill into regulators to make use of their suits bonus.
Not to mention that they won't know if CCP intends to keep these bonuses upon switching to more logistics based bonuses, and with everyone at CCP laughing at new players who struggle to grasp this stuff as is, it's not too hard to see why people might be upset.
I'm used to CCP shitting on my dreams, so it doesn't bother me.

Iron Wolf Saber wrote:Yet the bonuses of the extenders get from skills is still there and still applies, same for regulators. What I'm saying is that some people like myself plan their builds meticulously. They plan out every CPU, PG, module and skill. When suddenly you go and shuffle it all around, some people might be hit harder than others. Some people may only have extenders, and now they find that their shields are much weaker (even more so if they're attempting to be at true logi bro). If they were building their suit around the old bonuses, as many players did (keep in mind that a good chunk of players NEVER come to these forums, and just play the game with what minimal information they are given) then they may not have any points in regulators.
Suddenly their bonus no longer applies to what they had skilled into, and are told to muster up however many SP it is to get regulators to 5 to take advantage of that bonus (which while good, is less good since recharge delay went up on logis). Also keep in mind that this is a different style of play, a more movement oriented one since you tank through your recharge instead of your HP.
It's kind of arrogant to assume that everyone who chose Caldari logi did it because it was OP and the knew, and it's also arrogant to assume that people shouldn't be upset by having their work and decisions negated without any means to alter those choices.
I'm used to this kind of treatment, I'm honestly surprised some of the others aren't.
I'm just trying to say that there are two sides to the story, and it's wrong to assume everyone is in the same boat just because they picked the same suit. |
