Again a points series of meta levels would work well. If you total meta level of equipment was under X value you would be eligible for this type of match. If you have less then the drop suits should be balanced fairly, however if you go over X value and enter the Y value matching making there is not point in holding back gear and you then use gear meta level up to Z level.

Prototype Suits are the biggest problem..the gap between Adv and Proto suits is much bigger than with the weapons.

I also have 1000 (yes one thousand): of protosuits, proto mods, proto weapons, proto sidearms, proto nanohives, proto....well you get my drift?? And if I ever decide to run full proto every match well theres this tiny sum of isk that I have of 556 M. But I run militia and starter fits since its much more of a challenge to kill advanced and proto fits. I also lol when I get roadkilled, orbitaled, fused nade "gifts" sent to me or flaylock spammed at me. My fits cost three thousand and lower and a few cost zero. When theres a proto only match mode then I assume I will be there since its going to be fun to do some payback....lol.

Or if the situation is dire then kill installations every match for 300 k and in twenty matches thats six million per day. A good sum of isk. A month will see you at 150 million to 180 million easy.

Matchmaking is probably based off of more than just gear leveled into. KDR, WP, SP and a few other matrices are at play also. Separating battles by restricting gear is the best way of avoiding proto stomps.

[/quote] Starter fit logi with two types of remotes and set six out in a long line then pretend to engage a squad of six enemy protos who only see a starter fit easy kill and they all just have to run after the rabbit to try and kill me then when the squad was in my kill fields I pressed L1 twice to see +50 +50 +50 +50 +50 +50 And that was fun!!
