Why am I not surprised that the Goons are exploiting?

Since I upset so many people, I'm going to try and make reparations. As an act of attrition towards anyone offended, I'm willing to double their ISK. This is my way of saying that I'm sorry.

Just send the ISK you want doubled to me and I'll take care of it post-haste.

I hope this makes things right with everyone. I didn't mean to upset your realistic space mans shooting simulation.

Keep up the kill/revive farming folks, as hopefully CCPs fix will be:

- Revived merc does not get a death
- Player who killed merc does not get a kill (or WP) if they are revived.


This is how it should have been from the start, as this would actually make getting revived worthwhile. Rather than the useless frustration it is now.

I will review your screenshots and ask the members of our corp involved in this incident to explain their rather shocking high scores. If the result of the investigation reveals anything less than a stunning display of gungame from Messrs Unstoppable and 420 I assure you swift warnings will be issued.

Just ignore the haters. They fail to realize that no one cares about their stats (even seeing someone else's stats is a hassle, and the scoreboards are bugged all to ****). One day they will see that we're making this game better through our actions, as we already have with such things as getting the orbital glitch fixed, getting LAV TKing fixed, getting a Kick Player feature added to PC.... The list goes on, and soon we'll add "made the revive feature better" to the list.

I love how this gentlemen thinks that the glitches are getting fixed through some form of rebellious abuse of these glitches, and simultaneously thinks this community at large is as delusional. As if we do not have a system setup that allows direct communication with the Devs of not only the game but specific sections and teams within. Not to mention private server testing, the feedback loop with ccp inside of the cpm, the recent ama through cpm with direct access to ccp. Couple that with a massive forum dedicated to the anecdotal evidence from any player, that leads to monthly updates that fix most bugs, and yes that somehow leads us all to believe that the reason these bugs get fixed is due to the tireless effort of a few dedicated uhhh uhhhh ,goons is it ?, yes a few dedicated goons tirelessly toiling in the unbearable circumstances of air conditioned housing as patriots to this game and of new eden so as to one day we shall live in a bug free game. In the mean time doing so will give a less than mediocre player exceptional stats , war points , orbitals, as a merely unforeseen side effect of these noble rebels action. The fact is this the common method players farm so as to avoid playing very often, prop up faltering kds, maintain corp status, who knows why the goon scrub did it or why djinn failhard encourages it, or why this 420needs to uninstall is defending it I don't care either way its wrong, act like somebody and stop.

If you see bugs getting fixed on a regular basis, you might consider visiting an optometrist. The fact of the matter is that the bugs that get priority (and are corrected quickly) are the ones that are exploitable. If goons had kept quiet about how to farm orbitals (in a manner that could easily gain a squad 5 or 6 in a row) it would still be an exploit that could have enormous ramifications in PC battles. Grenade ganking, teamkilling with LAVs, patched out to save YOUR fittings from those who simply want to **** you off for a laugh. Abusing an exploit is often the only way to raise a big enough uproar for CCP to take it seriously.

We never claim the work was a burden, as we have do have fun with it; but at the end of the day Goon antics have done as much to shape and improve this game as the CPM has with their direct line to CCP. Have we gotten placeholder dropsuits for the other racial heavy and scout variants? Have the issues with people clipping through the walls and floors of the MCC been fixed? No. But what about all the fun ways we had to kill blues?
